cultivation substrate can be made into different specifications according to the needs, which is suitable for automatic sowing, industrialized seedling raising, mechanized transplanting etc. UPuper® rock wool is light without scattering, which can reduce labor cost and intensity. It helps to improve labor environment and production efficiency.
The return liquid of UPuper® rock wool is clean so that it can be recycled, which not only saves water and fertilizer, but also protects the environment. UPuper® rock wool substrate is manufactured in full automatic production lines so that the customer will receive products with accurate size and fast delivery time. UPuper® can meet the needs of different growers in different periods.

Instructions for using rockwool cubes:
1. Soak the rockwool cubes in warm water to fully foam.
2. Put the rockwool cubes into a container and distribute evenly.
3. Place the seeds gently on the surface in the correct direction and wrap them in rockwool cubes, as the frosted rockwool  grow cubes can absorb enough water to ensure sufficient moisture coverage of the plant roots.
4. Depending on the variety of plants, they can grow new roots under the support of external plant sprouting cloths, achieving germination.
5. Put the sprouted cloth blocks of plants back into the container and replenish them with water in a timely manner.

Individually wrapped cubes hold the rockwool’s shape and prevent algae growth.
Easy to transport without hurting the roots and can improve transplanting efficiency.

1.What environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, are optimal for using cultivation substrate in indoor or outdoor growing setups?

The optimal environmental conditions for using rockwool grow cubes in indoor or outdoor growing setups are temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C) and humidity levels between 40-60%. It is important to maintain these conditions to ensure the best results for your plants.

2.Are there rockwool grow cube products specifically designed for vertical gardening or living walls?

Yes, there are rockwool grow cubes specifically designed for vertical gardening and living walls. These cubes are designed to provide optimal air and water retention, as well as support for the plants. They are available in various sizes and shapes to fit any vertical gardening or living wall setup.

3.Are there organic or sustainable options for cultivation substrate that meet eco-friendly growing practices?

Yes, there are several organic and sustainable options for rockwool grow cubes that meet eco-friendly growing practices. These include organic rockwool cubes made from natural materials such as coconut coir, hemp, and jute, as well as sustainable rockwool cubes made from recycled materials. Additionally, some companies offer rockwool cubes that are treated with natural, non-toxic solutions to reduce the risk of disease and pests.

4.Are cultivation substrate compatible with automatic irrigation and nutrient delivery systems commonly used in hydroponics?

Yes, cultivation substrate are compatible with automatic irrigation and nutrient delivery systems commonly used in hydroponics. However, it is important to note that rockwool cubes should be soaked in water before use to ensure that they are properly hydrated. Additionally, rockwool cubes should be flushed with water every few weeks to prevent nutrient buildup.

Are cultivation substrate compatible with automatic irrigation and nutrient delivery systems commonly used in hydroponics?

5.How do cultivation substrate compare to traditional soil in terms of plant growth rates and yields?

cultivation substrate are a great alternative to traditional soil for growing plants. They provide excellent aeration and drainage, which can lead to faster growth rates and higher yields. Rockwool also has a higher water-holding capacity than soil, which can help to reduce the amount of water needed for plants. Additionally, rockwool is sterile, so it is less likely to contain disease-causing organisms that can harm plants. Overall, rockwool grow cubes can provide a great environment for plants to thrive in, leading to faster growth rates and higher yields.

6.Is it possible to get samples of the cultivation substrate for you?

Yes, we can provide samples for your quality testing.

7.How are rockwool grow cubes used in horticulture and hydroponics?

Rockwool grow cubes are used in horticulture and hydroponics as a medium for growing plants. They are made from spun basalt rock and chalk, and are lightweight, sterile, and easy to use. The cubes provide an ideal environment for root growth, and can be used to start seeds, propagate cuttings, and grow plants from seedlings. They are also used to support hydroponic systems, as they can hold water and nutrients, and provide an ideal environment for root growth.

8.How do cultivation substrate contribute to root stability and prevent transplant shock when moving plants to larger containers?

Rockwool grow cubes provide a stable environment for roots to grow and develop. The cubes are designed to hold moisture and nutrients, which helps to reduce transplant shock and promote healthy root growth. The cubes also provide a physical barrier between the roots and the new container, which helps to reduce the risk of root damage during the transplant process. Additionally, the cubes help to keep the roots in place, which helps to prevent the plant from becoming uprooted during the transplant process.

How do cultivation substrate contribute to root stability and prevent transplant shock when moving plants to larger containers?

9.What types of crops or plants are best suited for cultivation in cultivation substrate, and are there any limitations?

cultivation substrate are best suited for hydroponic cultivation of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Some of the most popular crops grown in rockwool cubes include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, and basil. Rockwool cubes can also be used to propagate cuttings from existing plants.
The main limitation of rockwool cubes is that they are not suitable for growing root vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and onions. Additionally, rockwool cubes are not suitable for growing plants that require a lot of water, such as watermelons and pumpkins.

10.What is the expected lifespan of cultivation substrate, and how do you determine when it's time to replace them?

The expected lifespan of cultivation substrate is typically between 1-3 years, depending on the frequency of use and the quality of the cubes. To determine when it's time to replace them, look for signs of wear and tear such as discoloration, cracking, or crumbling. If the cubes are no longer providing adequate support for the roots of your plants, it's time to replace them.

11.As a cultivation substrate manufacturer,What's the term of payment?

T/T, Paypal, Credit card etc.

12.About cultivation substrate,What is the best time of for daily irrigation?

It depends on your region and season.
In case of similar climate conditions in Shanghai, it is recommended to start watering 2 hours after sunrise and stop watering 2-3 hours before sunset. Long term watering before sunset will lead to plant overgrowth. If necessary (in hot climate for example), please adjust your irrigation strategy in time to keep the water absorbed by plants consistent and grow evenly every day.

About cultivation substrate,What is the best time of for daily irrigation?

13.About cultivation substrate,Why should we open some drains on the rock wool cultivation strip?

The drain is opened at the bottom of both ends of the cultivation strip. The drain is opened to allow the normal discharge of excess water and fertilizer to keep the EC Value in the planting strip stable. The location of drainage holes and the correct irrigation amount directly affect the distribution of water and EC in the cultivation strip. Be sure not to set additional drainage holes in the planting strip when you use them, otherwise it will change the planting strip drainage mode, which may be unfavorable to the plant roots in some areas in the planting strip. The surplus water and fertilizer will flow into the diversion tank and return to the irrigation system for recycling after disinfection and other process. It can not only solve the problem of water and fertilizer, but also protect the environment.
