grow cube series can be made into different specifications according to the needs, which is suitable for automatic sowing, industrialized seedling raising, mechanized transplanting etc. UPuper® rock wool is light without scattering, which can reduce labor cost and intensity. It helps to improve labor environment and production efficiency.
The return liquid of UPuper® rock wool is clean so that it can be recycled, which not only saves water and fertilizer, but also protects the environment. UPuper® rock wool substrate is manufactured in full automatic production lines so that the customer will receive products with accurate size and fast delivery time. UPuper® can meet the needs of different growers in different periods.

Instructions for using rockwool cubes:
1. Soak the rockwool cubes in warm water to fully foam.
2. Put the rockwool cubes into a container and distribute evenly.
3. Place the seeds gently on the surface in the correct direction and wrap them in rockwool cubes, as the frosted rockwool  grow cubes can absorb enough water to ensure sufficient moisture coverage of the plant roots.
4. Depending on the variety of plants, they can grow new roots under the support of external plant sprouting cloths, achieving germination.
5. Put the sprouted cloth blocks of plants back into the container and replenish them with water in a timely manner.

Individually wrapped cubes hold the rockwool’s shape and prevent algae growth.
Easy to transport without hurting the roots and can improve transplanting efficiency.

1.Can grow cube series be used in combination with traditional soil to improve aeration and drainage in potted plants?

Yes, grow cube series can be used in combination with traditional soil to improve aeration and drainage in potted plants. Rockwool is a lightweight, porous material that helps to improve drainage and aeration in soil, allowing for better root growth and healthier plants. It can also help to retain moisture in the soil, which is beneficial for plants that require more frequent watering.

2.Are grow cube series suitable for both soil-based and soilless growing systems?

Yes, grow cube series are suitable for both soil-based and soilless growing systems. Rockwool is a great medium for both types of systems because it is lightweight, sterile, and provides excellent drainage and aeration. It also holds moisture well, making it an ideal choice for both types of systems.

3.Can grow cube series be used for cloning and propagating plant cuttings, and what advantages do they offer for this purpose?

Yes, grow cube seriess can be used for cloning and propagating plant cuttings. Rockwool is a great medium for cloning and propagating because it is sterile, lightweight, and provides excellent aeration and drainage. It also holds moisture well, which is important for successful cloning and propagation. Additionally, rockwool is easy to use and can be cut to fit any size container.

4.As a grow cube series manufacturer,Why use soilless cultivation?

Soilless cultivation is the most advanced cultivation technology in modern agriculture. From cultivation facilities to environmental control, the whole process can be monitored and regulated according to the needs of crop growth and development. It can realize early maturity and high yield of crops; Production of pollution-free products; greatly improve working conditions, save labor and reduce labor intensity; Save water and fertilizer; Avoid soil continuous planting barriers; it has no regional restrictions and can make the space fully used; so that contribute to the automation and intelligence of cultivation.

As a grow cube series manufacturer,Why use soilless cultivation?

5.How do grow cube series help prevent overwatering or waterlogged conditions in plant root systems?

grow cube series are made of a porous material that helps to regulate the amount of water that is available to the plant roots. The material is designed to absorb and retain water, while also allowing excess water to drain away. This helps to prevent overwatering and waterlogged conditions in the root system, as the plant is able to take up only the amount of water it needs.

6.About grow cube series,Why should we open some drains on the rock wool cultivation strip?

The drain is opened at the bottom of both ends of the cultivation strip. The drain is opened to allow the normal discharge of excess water and fertilizer to keep the EC Value in the planting strip stable. The location of drainage holes and the correct irrigation amount directly affect the distribution of water and EC in the cultivation strip. Be sure not to set additional drainage holes in the planting strip when you use them, otherwise it will change the planting strip drainage mode, which may be unfavorable to the plant roots in some areas in the planting strip. The surplus water and fertilizer will flow into the diversion tank and return to the irrigation system for recycling after disinfection and other process. It can not only solve the problem of water and fertilizer, but also protect the environment.

7.What is the composition and material of grow cube series, and how do they compare to other growing mediums like soil or coco coir?

grow cube series are made from a combination of basalt and chalk that is melted and spun into fibers. The fibers are then compressed into cubes. Rockwool is a great growing medium because it is sterile, lightweight, and provides excellent drainage and aeration. It also holds moisture well and is pH neutral. Compared to soil, rockwool is much lighter and easier to work with, and it does not contain any of the pests or diseases that can be found in soil. Compared to coco coir, rockwool is more sterile and does not contain any of the salts that can be found in coco coir. Rockwool is also more lightweight and easier to work with than coco coir.

8.How do you prevent the formation of algae or mold on the surface of grow cube series?

To avoid causing losses due to these issues, UPuper recommends that you do the following:
1. Make sure to keep the rockwool grow cubes in a well-ventilated area.
2. Avoid overwatering the rockwool grow cubes.
3. Clean the rockwool grow cubes regularly with a mild detergent and water solution.
4. Use a fungicide or algaecide to prevent the formation of algae or mold.
5. Make sure to keep the rockwool grow cubes away from direct sunlight.

9.What is the expected lifespan of grow cube series, and how do you determine when it's time to replace them?

The expected lifespan of grow cube series is typically between 1-3 years, depending on the frequency of use and the quality of the cubes. To determine when it's time to replace them, look for signs of wear and tear such as discoloration, cracking, or crumbling. If the cubes are no longer providing adequate support for the roots of your plants, it's time to replace them.

10.What are the disposal and recycling options for used grow cube series, and are they environmentally responsible?

grow cube series are made from a combination of basalt and slag, which are both non-toxic and non-hazardous materials. The best way to dispose of used rockwool grow cubes is to recycle them. Many local recycling centers accept rockwool grow cubes for recycling. Alternatively, you can contact your local waste management company to see if they offer a special collection service for rockwool grow cubes.
Recycling rockwool grow cubes is an environmentally responsible option as it reduces the amount of waste that goes to landfills. Additionally, recycling rockwool grow cubes helps conserve resources and reduce the amount of energy needed to produce new materials.

11.As a grow cube series manufacturer,What's the term of payment?

T/T, Paypal, Credit card etc.

12.Are there organic or sustainable options for grow cube series that meet eco-friendly growing practices?

Yes, there are several organic and sustainable options for rockwool grow cubes that meet eco-friendly growing practices. These include organic rockwool cubes made from natural materials such as coconut coir, hemp, and jute, as well as sustainable rockwool cubes made from recycled materials. Additionally, some companies offer rockwool cubes that are treated with natural, non-toxic solutions to reduce the risk of disease and pests.

Are there organic or sustainable options for grow cube series that meet eco-friendly growing practices?

13.Can grow cube series be used in conjunction with other growing media or as part of a multi-stage cultivation process?

Yes, grow cube series can be used in conjunction with other growing media or as part of a multi-stage cultivation process. Rockwool cubes are often used in hydroponic systems as a medium for starting seeds or cuttings, and can be used in conjunction with other growing media such as perlite, vermiculite, and coco coir. Rockwool cubes can also be used in multi-stage cultivation processes, such as in aeroponic systems, where the cubes are used to start the seedlings and then transferred to a larger growing medium.
