rock wool cubes has the least impact on the environment among all substrates. UPuper® rock wool cubes are made from natural rock and melted at 1500℃. It has no pathogenic bacteria, toxic and harmful substances.
It provides a pollution-free root environment for growing green crops. UPuper® Rock wool substrates can also realize recycling, which makes it to become a green, safe, stable and reliable soilless culture medium.

Instructions for using rockwool cubes:
1. Soak the rockwool cubes in warm water to fully foam.
2. Put the rockwool cubes into a container and distribute evenly.
3. Place the seeds gently on the surface in the correct direction and wrap them in rockwool cubes, as the frosted rockwool  grow cubes can absorb enough water to ensure sufficient moisture coverage of the plant roots.
4. Depending on the variety of plants, they can grow new roots under the support of external plant sprouting cloths, achieving germination.
5. Put the sprouted cloth blocks of plants back into the container and replenish them with water in a timely manner.

Give roots more growing space.Better water and fertilizer retention.

1.About rock wool cubes,What is the best time of for daily irrigation?

It depends on your region and season.
In case of similar climate conditions in Shanghai, it is recommended to start watering 2 hours after sunrise and stop watering 2-3 hours before sunset. Long term watering before sunset will lead to plant overgrowth. If necessary (in hot climate for example), please adjust your irrigation strategy in time to keep the water absorbed by plants consistent and grow evenly every day.

2.What are rockwool grow cubes?

Rockwool grow cubes are a type of growing medium made from melted basalt rock and chalk that is spun into fibers and then compressed into cubes. They are commonly used in hydroponic systems and are known for their excellent water retention and air porosity. Rockwool cubes are also pH neutral, making them ideal for growing a variety of plants.

3.As a rock wool cubes manufacturer, What about your package?

Export standard package. Cartons tested for compressive strength. Pallet packaging is also acceptable.

4.As a rock wool cubes manufacturer,What is soilless cultivation?

Soilless cultivation is a method of cultivating plants without natural soil nor use compound fertilizer and similar compound fertilizer based on soil. It is a new method that only uses nutrient solution to support for plant growth or various cultivation substrates that can replace soil and are suitable for plant growth. Soilless cultivation can be divided into fog cultivation, water cultivation and solid substrate cultivation. UPuper® Rock wool substrate belongs to solid substrate cultivation.

5.Can rock wool cubes be used in combination with traditional soil to improve aeration and drainage in potted plants?

Yes, rock wool cubes can be used in combination with traditional soil to improve aeration and drainage in potted plants. Rockwool is a lightweight, porous material that helps to improve drainage and aeration in soil, allowing for better root growth and healthier plants. It can also help to retain moisture in the soil, which is beneficial for plants that require more frequent watering.

Can rock wool cubes be used in combination with traditional soil to improve aeration and drainage in potted plants?

6.What is the recommended method for disposing of used rock wool cubes to minimize environmental impact?

The recommended method for disposing of used rock wool cubess is to compost them. Rockwool is made from basalt and chalk, which are both natural materials that can be broken down by microorganisms in the soil. Composting the cubes will help to reduce the environmental impact by returning the materials to the soil.

7.About rock wool cubes,How to calculate the irrigation amount of nutrient solution?

In case of tomatoes, from planting to flowering: the irrigation amount is about 300-500ml / plant / day; From flowering stage to early fruiting stage: the irrigation amount is about 800-1200ml / plant / day; From early fruiting to harvest period: the irrigation amount is 1200-1500ml / plant / day, and the irrigation amount in full fruit period is about 1500-2000ml / plant / day. You can also bring out a rough calculation according to the shape and size of rock wool.

8.As a rock wool cubes manufacturer, How to ship the goods to the customer?

DHL , USP , FedEx , EMS , by air , by sea , and customer's forwarder are also acceptable.

9.As a rock wool cubes manufacturer,What's the term of payment?

T/T, Paypal, Credit card etc.

10.Do rock wool cubes have natural resistance to pests and diseases in horticultural settings?

No, rockwool grow cubes do not have natural resistance to pests and diseases in horticultural settings. It is important to use proper pest and disease control measures to ensure healthy plants.

Do rock wool cubes have natural resistance to pests and diseases in horticultural settings?

11.Can rock wool cubes be used in conjunction with other growing media or as part of a multi-stage cultivation process?

Yes, rock wool cubes can be used in conjunction with other growing media or as part of a multi-stage cultivation process. Rockwool cubes are often used in hydroponic systems as a medium for starting seeds or cuttings, and can be used in conjunction with other growing media such as perlite, vermiculite, and coco coir. Rockwool cubes can also be used in multi-stage cultivation processes, such as in aeroponic systems, where the cubes are used to start the seedlings and then transferred to a larger growing medium.

12.Can rock wool cubes be used for cloning and propagating plant cuttings, and what advantages do they offer for this purpose?

Yes, rock wool cubess can be used for cloning and propagating plant cuttings. Rockwool is a great medium for cloning and propagating because it is sterile, lightweight, and provides excellent aeration and drainage. It also holds moisture well, which is important for successful cloning and propagation. Additionally, rockwool is easy to use and can be cut to fit any size container.
